⚠️ Important:
This is an early feature. MYOB integration is currently read-only. Publishing extractions directly to MYOB will be available soon.
In the meantime, you can continue using the MYOB (CSV) and MYOB (Excel) templates to export your extractions and import them into MYOB Desktop and sync to MYOB Online.
MYOB integration is currently waitlisted. Contact support team or send an email to [email protected] to get it enabled for your organization.
Step 1: Enable the MYOB Integration
Go to Overview → Organization Settings → Features.
Enable MYOB Integration.
Only the Organization Owner can enable or disable this feature.
Step 2: Connect MYOB to Your Entity
Open the entity you want to connect.
Click Save.
Go to Integrations → Add New Integration.
Select MYOB and click Connect.
Sign in using your MYOB administrator account.
Step 3: Activate Self Prompt Learning
If the integration shows Pending, enable Self Prompt Learning.
Turn on learning for:
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Direct Expenses (Spend Money)
Click Activate.
Tip: Enabling Self Prompt Learning allows TOFU to learn from your historical MYOB transactions, improving extraction accuracy.
Step 4: Verify the Integration
Once connected, TOFU automatically imports your MYOB accounting data, including:
Chart of Accounts
Contacts
Products & Services
Tax Codes
Currencies
Tags
Step 5: Upload and Review a Document
Upload a document to TOFU.
Select the appropriate extraction type:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Direct Expenses
Wait until the document status changes to Needs Review.
Review all extracted fields before exporting.
Step 6: Export the Extraction
Click the Three Dots (⋮) More Actions menu.
Select Export.
Choose MYOB CSV.
Click Export Extraction.
Tip: To export multiple documents, select them using the checkboxes before exporting.
Step 7: Import the CSV into MYOB Desktop
Open MYOB Desktop.
Go to File → Import/Export Assistant → Import Data.
Select Purchases → Miscellaneous Purchases.
Browse to the exported CSV file.
Choose Comma-separated data.
Click Import.
Step 8: Verify the Import
Search for the imported transaction using its invoice number.
Confirm the transaction matches the extraction created in TOFU.
Refresh MYOB Online to verify the transaction has synchronized successfully.
