1. Access the Help Button
Log in to your main organization.
Look for the Help button in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Open the In-App Support Channel
The help button is available on all pages in Tofu (Summary, Review, Settings, etc.).
Click Help to open the in-app support panel on the right side of the screen.
3. Compose a Message
Go to Messages.
Click Send us a message.
Type your question or issue in the message box.
What to Include When You Message Support
To help us assist you faster, include as much of the following as possible:
A link to the page youโre on (copy the URL from your browser)
Your organization and entity name
What you expected to happen vs. what actually happened
Steps to reproduce the issue (if applicable)
A screenshot or short screen recording (if available)
4. Enhance Your Message
Attach documents or images
Send emojis or GIFs
Record a voice message (which will be automatically transcribed)
5. Receive Support
You can typically expect a response within 30 minutes during support hours.
6. Navigate the Support Panel
From the support panel, you can:
Click Back to return to the home view
View or continue existing conversations
Browse recent product releases
Open help articles
Use Search Help to quickly find guides
Other Ways to Get Help
Request help from the Extract button
If youโre repeatedly retrying an extraction or iterating on Knowledge Base updates and still not getting the right result, Tofu may surface a Request help option directly in the extraction review.
Open the extraction youโre reviewing.
Hover over the Extract button and click Request help.
Tofu automatically includes the extraction link so support can see the exact context.
Use this when you need help with a specific extraction, rather than a general question.
7. Access Messages or the Help Center Directly
Select Messages to send or view conversations
Select Help to open the Help Center directly
8. Close the Support Panel
Click the X button at the top of the panel, or
Click Hide Help to collapse the in-app support
9. Directly Access Messages or Help Center
Select the message page to send a message.
Click the Help page to go directly to the Help Center.
10. Close the Support Panel
If the Help panel isnโt appearing, try the following:
Click your User ID in the left navigation
Go to Account
Select Cookie Consent
Click Accept All
11. Reopen the Help Button
To send another message, simply click the Help button again.
12. Can't See the In-App Support?
To fix this, follow the steps below:
On the left navigation pane, click on your User ID.
Go to Account.
Select Cookie Consent.
Click Accept All.
