⚠️ Important:
This is an early feature. AutoCount Cloud integration is currently read-only. Publishing and importing extraction settings directly to AutoCount Cloud will be available soon.
In the meantime, you can continue using the AutoCount Cloud (CSV) template to export your extractions and import them into AutoCount Cloud.
The organization owner should enable first AutoCount Cloud integration in Organization Settings → Features.
Before you begin
To connect AutoCount Cloud to Tofu, you will need three things from your AutoCount Cloud account:
Key ID
API Key
Account Book ID
You can find all three in the same place. Here's how:
Log in to your AutoCount Cloud account at accounting.autocountcloud.com.
Go to Settings → API Keys.
Copy your Account Book ID, which is already shown on this page.
Click Create API Key to generate your API Key and Key ID.
Copy and save both keys.

How to connect AutoCount Cloud
Once you have your Key ID, API Key, and Account Book ID ready, you can connect AutoCount Cloud to Tofu by following these steps:
Go to Entity Settings.
Select Integrations.
Click Add New Integration.
Select AutoCount Cloud.
Enter your Key ID, API Key, and Account Book ID.
Click Connect.
Back on the Integrations page, click AutoCount Cloud again. It will show as Pending. This opens the configuration panel.
Click Activate.
Your AutoCount Cloud integration is now connected to the entity.
💡 Tip: Before activating, you can turn on Self-Prompt for your AP Bills, AR Invoices, and Direct Expenses in the configuration panel. This lets Tofie learn from your historical transactions in AutoCount Cloud and apply your coding patterns automatically during review. If you do not have historical data in AutoCount Cloud yet, you can upload a CSV or Excel file instead in Entity Settings → Knowledge Base.
How to check if accounting data is synced
After connecting, you can verify that your AutoCount Cloud data is available in Tofu.
Go to Entity Settings.
Select Accounting.
Review the available accounting data, such as accounts, items, contacts, currencies, or tags.
💡 Tip: If you add new data in AutoCount Cloud, click the Sync
button in Tofu to refresh and update the data. Do note that tax rates are not synced from AutoCount Cloud, so you can add or edit them directly in Tofu under Entity Settings → Accounting.
How to export and import extractions
AutoCount Cloud integration is currently read-only, so extractions are not published directly to AutoCount Cloud yet.
For now, use the export → import workflow:
Open the extraction in Tofu.
Review and verify all extraction details are correct.
Once satisfied, export the extraction using the AutoCount Cloud (CSV) template.
Download the CSV file.
Go to AutoCount Cloud and import the CSV file.
This lets you continue moving extraction data from Tofu into AutoCount Cloud while direct publishing is still being developed.
💡 Tips:
For a single extraction, you can export directly from the review page by clicking the three-dot menu and selecting Export. If you need to export multiple extractions at once, go to the Extractions panel, select the extractions you want, and use Bulk Export.
Once imported, your AutoCount Cloud records will reflect the extraction data from Tofu.To skip choosing a template on every export, set CSV Export Target to AutoCount Cloud in Entity Settings → Features. Exports will then use the AutoCount Cloud (Excel) template automatically.
If you switch between multiple export templates, keep CSV Export Target set to None so you can choose at export time.
