This week's updates bring new automation, better syncing, and more control over early features.
🚀 Import & Publish
Previously, users had one toggle for auto-sync — but now, we’ve separated the syncing actions into two distinct controls: Import and Publish.
Import: This control allows you to bring files into Tofu exactly when you need them, without any automatic syncing.
Publish: Once your files are in Tofu, you can choose when they sync back to your accounting system by explicitly controlling the Publish status.
🛠️ Early Feature Controls
Organization owners now have the ability to turn on features that are still in development with Early Feature Controls, allowing you to explore experimental features as soon as they’re available and provide feedback before they’re fully rolled out.
🧾 AI Auto-Split for Multi-Invoice Files (Early Feature)
No more manual page splitting! When one file contains multiple invoices, Tofie AI can now detect and separate them automatically. You can choose the behavior that fits your workflow:

🧾 Invoice Line Item Aggregation (Early Feature)
Tofu’s new Invoice Line Item Aggregation feature allows you to quickly combine multiple line items into a single one with just one click. Perfect for accountants and bookkeepers who need a streamlined invoicing process. invoicing.

This Week in Tofu: Faster, Smarter, and More Flexible
We’ve rolled out powerful updates to make Tofu more efficient for both integrated and non-integrated clients. Here’s what’s new:

🌐 Organization-Aware URLs
Sharing invoices just got easier! URLs now include your organization slug and entity slug, making them more accessible and always pointing to the right context.
📊 Bukku Template Export (Excel)
For clients without accounting software integrations, you can now export invoices in a ready-to-upload Excel template for Boku—no extra formatting required.
🤖 AI for Non-Integrated Clients
We’ve brought the same AI experience you know and love to all users, even without an accounting integration:
📂 Historical Bills Upload — Train Tofie AI on past invoices to build entity knowledge.
🏷️ Supplier Management — Manually add suppliers and create supplier knowledge during verification.
⚡ Smarter Extractions — Future invoices from the same supplier get processed faster and more accurately.
👉 This means non-integrated accounts now enjoy the same AI-powered efficiency as integrated ones.

🪄 Tax Amount Override (Xero): Override settings are now managed via a toggle in Integration Settings. Once enabled, you can edit tax amounts directly at the invoice level.

📂 SharePoint & OneDrive Integration: Files added to OneDrive folders linked to SharePoint are now automatically picked up and uploaded into Tofu.
