How Highlighting and Centering Work in Tofu

Tofu highlights extracted data directly on your document to help you review faster and with more confidence. With highlighting and centering, you can easily see where each value was extracted and how it maps to fields in the review panel.

How Highlighting Works

When highlighting is enabled, Tofu shows all extracted values directly on the document.

When you hover over a highlighted value:

  • A label shows what field it was extracted as (e.g. Invoice Number)

  • The corresponding field in the review panel is highlighted

This helps you quickly understand how data is mapped.

When you hover over a field in the review panel:

  • The corresponding area in the document is highlighted

  • A label appears showing the field name

  • The highlight uses a pulsing effect for better visibility

This helps you quickly identify where each extracted value was taken from in the document.

How Centering Works

When centering is enabled, Tofu helps you focus on the exact location of each value.

When you hover over a highlighted value:

  • The document automatically zooms into the extracted value

  • The corresponding field in the review panel is highlighted

  • A label shows what field it was extracted as

This makes it easier to inspect extracted values closely without manually zooming or searching through the document.
