AI Priority Fields
AI Priority Fields let you define which fields Tofie should prioritize during extraction and highlight during review.
Why use AI Priority Fields
Use AI Priority Fields when:
Certain fields are more important to your workflow
You want reviewers to focus on key fields first
You want consistent review behavior across documents
How to set AI Priority Fields
Go to Entity Settings.
Click Features.
Navigate to AI Priority Fields.
Select up to 3 fields per extraction type.
Click Save.
You can update these anytime as your workflow changes.
Note:
The order of the priority fields does not matter. Priority 1, 2, and 3 are treated the same. Any selected priority field will be highlighted as important during extraction and review.
Only enabled extraction types for the entity are shown as available extraction types. To add more, go to Features → Extraction Types and enable them.
Available fields by extraction type
You can select different priority fields depending on the extraction type.

Knowledge Panel (During Review)
When reviewing extractions, you can open the Knowledge Panel to inspect and refine how Tofie extracted data.
To open it:
Click Edit
Click the
Brain icon in the Extraction Review
A panel will appear below the page preview.
Tip: You can drag the panel divider to resize the Knowledge Panel. This gives you more space and better visibility when reviewing knowledge rules, references, and extracted values.
Target fields navigation
The Knowledge Panel displays all target fields for the selected extraction type.
You can navigate between fields by:
Clicking Next / Previous arrows
Selecting a field from the dropdown menu
Clicking a field directly in the Extraction Review panel
Clicking the document field directly in the page preview
Each field represents a structured extraction target for that extraction type.
AI Confidence Score
Each target field includes a confidence indicator:
🟢 Green — high confidence score extraction
🟡 Yellow — medium confidence score extraction
⚪ Blank — no extraction or not applicable
This helps you quickly identify fields that may need review.
💡 Pro tip: During review, prioritize fields marked with a yellow indicator — these are medium confidence extractions that are most likely to need a quick check. Fields marked green are high confidence and can typically be skimmed.
AI Priority Fields in the Knowledge Panel
Fields configured as AI Priority Fields are marked with a ⭐ icon inside the Knowledge Panel.
If a field is prioritized:
The ⭐ appears in a bold/highlighted state
These fields are surfaced first in the review flow
This helps reviewers focus on the most important data first.
Knowledge tab
The Knowledge tab shows the knowledge rules applied to the selected target field during extraction.
From the Knowledge Card, you can:
View icon — see the exact prompt or rule from your Knowledge Base
Edit icon — modify the knowledge rule directly during review
This allows you to update extraction logic without leaving the review screen, making it faster to refine and maintain your Knowledge Base in one place.
Reference tab
The Reference tab shows the verified extracted values that Tofie used during extraction.
Each reference includes:
Verified extraction — Opens the related extraction
Verified value — Confirmed reference value
Verified date — When the extraction was verified
Use the reference table to trace extracted values back to verified data and better understand how extraction results were determined.
