Requirements & Process
Step 1: Complete the In-App Checklist
The in-app checklist guides you through the core steps required for certification, including:
Set up your entity
Connect your accounting software or set up accounting data
Train Tofie AI via Knowledge Base
Upload and verify extractions (AP Bills and Bank Statement)
Use search, filters, or bulk actions to manage extractions efficiently
Completing the checklist ensures you’ve finished the core requirements needed to proceed with certification.
Step 2: Meet Volume Requirements
Make sure you meet the minimum activity metrics required for certification, including:
Created at least 2 entities
Uploaded and verified at least 10 AP Bills
Uploaded and verified at least 1 Bank Statement
The Tofu team will review these metrics to confirm your eligibility.
Step 3: Request Your Verification
Once you’ve completed all steps in the in-app checklist, click the Request Verification button to submit your certification request.
After submission, the Tofu team will:
Review your checklist completion
Verify that you’ve met the required activity metrics
You will receive confirmation of your certification status through in-app messages. Verification typically takes up to 14 business days.
Step 4: Receive Your Certificate
Once approved, you will receive your Tofu Certification. You can:

Add to your resume or CV
Highlight your expertise in using Tofu for document management and workflow efficiency
What About Tofu Champions?
Tofu Champions are a level above Tofu Certified users. While certified users have completed the requirements above, Tofu Champions actively partner with the Tofu team and Customer Success Managers to lead implementation efforts, influence product development, and gain early access to new features.
