How Focus View Works
Focus View allows you to open one extraction directly from a link. Once opened, the page isolates that extraction so you can review it without scrolling through the entire extractions list.
This is especially useful when sharing an extraction with teammates. When someone opens the link, they land directly on the correct extraction and can review its pages right away.
Focus View may also open automatically when you access an extraction from certain links in Tofu, such as older extraction links from Xero or extraction links from a “saved successfully” notification.
When to use Focus View
Reviewing a specific extraction shared by someone else
Sharing a link to a specific extraction with teammates
Focusing on one extraction without distractions
Quickly accessing an older or hidden extraction
How to Use Focus View
Go to the Extractions panel.
Find the extraction you want to review.
Copy the extraction link.
Paste the link in the same tab or open it in a new tab.
The extraction opens in Focus View with the message:
“You are viewing a single extraction in Focus View.”
Review the extraction.
Click Exit Focus View to return to your full extractions list.
Tip: If you have Focus View open in one tab and your full extractions list in another tab, any changes you make in Focus View (like verifying an extraction) will automatically update the full list in the other tab.
