Feature Maturity Labels
Features in the Feature Controls page are grouped by maturity:
Ready: Fully available to use
Preview: Available to try, but still being improved. May require opt-in.
Early: Experimental features. These require opt-in and may change.
⚠️ Note: Only Preview and Early features are typically managed from Feature Controls.

To Enable AI Auto Snippet (Multi-Receipt Cropping)
What it does: Splits a single image/page containing multiple receipts into separate extractions using the ✂️ multi-receipt cropping tool.
Enable + use
Organization Settings → Features → Enable AI Auto Snippet
Go to Source Documents → Upload a single image/page that contains multiple receipts → click ✂️ Snippet the page → draw boxes around each receipt
🔑 Quick Tips:
Draw tight boxes around each receipt-include all text/barcodes for better extraction.
Use it when multiple receipts are in one photo; create multiple snippets from the same source image.

To Enable Email Integration
What it does: Generates unique email addresses per document type so users can email attachments into Tofu (AP Bills, AR Invoices, Bank Statements, etc.).
Enable + set up
Organization Settings → Features → enable Email Integration
Entity Settings⚙️→ Integrations → Add New Integration → Email → Connect
Copy the generated addresses (optional: enable Email Whitelisting for security)
🔑 Quick Tip:
Turn on email whitelisting if you want to prevent unexpected uploads.

To Enable Invoice Line Item Aggregation
What it does: Lets you switch to an invoice version where multiple extracted line items are combined into one (“Combined Lines”).
Enable + use
Organization Settings → Features → toggle Invoice Line Items Aggregation ON
Open an invoice with multiple line items → you will now see Combined Lines

Edit invoice-level details before aggregating to ensure accuracy.
Review the aggregated version carefully to confirm totals and line items.
Use this feature when you need to simplify invoices with multiple line items, making them more concise and easier to process.
To Enable QuickBooks Location Tracking
What it does: Shows the Location field in Tofu for QBO-integrated entities and publishes it to QuickBooks.
Enable + use
Organization Settings → Features → enable QuickBooks Location Tracking
Entity Settings⚙️ → Accounting → Locations → Sync
In review, select a Location → Save Draft (and Publish if auto-publish is off)

Sync Locations first so reviewers select from a clean dropdown (avoid mismatched entries).
To Enable OneDrive Desktop Sync
What it does: Controls how SharePoint files synced via OneDrive are pulled into Tofu:
Enable + use
Organization Settings → Features → toggle OneDrive Desktop Sync ON
Entity Settings⚙️ → Integrations → SharePoint → toggle Enable OneDrive Desktop Sync
Choose sync behavior:
OFF = sync immediately
ON = batch scan every few minutes (up to ~30 minutes)
🔑 Quick Tips:
Ensure your OneDrive account is properly linked to your entity’s integration settings before enabling OneDrive Desktop Sync.
Integrate OneDrive just like SharePoint integration to avoid any sync issues.
Set clean folder/glob patterns and document-type filters so files land in the correct workflow.

To Enable API Keys
What it does: Lets you generate API keys for document ingestion (sending files into Tofu programmatically).
Enable + get started
Organization Settings → Features → toggle API Keys ON
Go to Settings → API Keys tab → create API key
Use the key in your request header:
Tofu-API-Key: <your_key>Most endpoints also require an
entity_idquery parameter (fetch entities first).
🔑 Quick Tips:
Treat API keys like passwords: restrict access and rotate if exposed.
Test ingestion with a small batch first, then scale once you confirm the files appear correctly in Source Documents and flow into extraction.

To Enable Extraction Pagination
What it does: Controls how many pages or extraction lines appear at once during review, improving navigation and performance for large documents.
Enable + set up
Organization Settings → Features → toggle Extraction Pagination ON.
Controls appear in Source Documents and Extraction panels.
Settings:
Pages per view: 5 / 10 / 20 / 50
Lines per page (Extraction Review): 5 / 10 / 20 / 50 / All
Individual documents/extractions can override the panel default, including All pages.
Navigation: Next / Previous / First / Last page, or jump to a specific page.
🔑 Quick Tips:
Start with a moderate pages-per-view (e.g., 10) for performance.
Override for long documents when full context is needed.
Use Shift/Ctrl for selecting multiple pages efficiently.
