How to Change or Manage Your Subscription Plan in Tofu

Update billing, change plans, or cancel your subscription. Owner or Billing access required.

Important: This is a non-prorated subscription. We do this to keep the billing cycle aligned with your organization’s usage limits, since entry and entity counts reset on the 1st of each month.

Note:
An entry is only counted when a document successfully completes the extraction stage.

The following do not count as entries:

  • Re-extracting the same document

  • Documents in pending or error status


Step 1: Go to the Billing Section

You can access your billing information in two ways:

  • From the Summary tab:
    Click Overview, then go to Billing.

OR

  • From the Settings tab:
    Click Billing directly.

Then, click the Manage Subscription button.


Step 2: Manage Your Subscription

In the Manage Subscription view, you can:

  • Update your payment method


  • Edit billing information


  • View invoice history


  • Change your subscription plan

Note:

  • If you're upgrading, the change takes effect immediately, and will just pay the price difference between plans for that month.

  • If you're downgrading, the change will apply starting on your next billing cycle.


Cancel your subscription

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

  • It will not automatically renew, and access will end after the period expires.

  • You can revoke the cancellation anytime by clicking "Don't cancel subscription."
