Publish and Import Filter in Tofu

Users can now filter the display in the extraction list to verify if it has been Published or Imported.

Where to find these filters:

  1. Go to the Extraction Column

  2. Click the filter funnel icon.

  3. Open “Publish Status” and “Import Status”.

💡 Note: Both Publish and Import filters apply to extractions and reflect their current sync state. This is important because all actions in Tofu are now extraction-based, so the filters show the real-time status of each extraction.

Tip: If you don’t see the filters, widen the Extraction panel or your browser window. Filters may be hidden when the column is too narrow.

Publish Statuses

  • Not Published – Extractions that have not yet been published to the accounting software.

  • Published – Extractions successfully published to the accounting software.

  • Edited After Published – Extractions edited in Tofu after publishing but not republished yet. (Only applicable if Auto-Publish is OFF.)

  • Publish Error – Extractions that failed to publish due to an unexpected error.

Note:

  • Not Published and Publish Error can appear whenever a document hasn’t successfully published yet, including when Auto-Publish is ON but the sync fails.

  • Bulk Publish can still appear (and be used) when Auto-Publish is ON if there are eligible items needing attention (e.g., Not Published / Publish Error), so you can retry publishing in bulk.

Import Statuses

  • Not Imported – Changes made in the accounting software have not been synced back into Tofu yet. (Not applicable when Auto-Import is ON.)

  • Imported – Changes from the accounting software have been successfully synced into Tofu.

  • Import Error – Import failed due to an unexpected error.

Note:

  • Not Imported and Import Error can appear whenever a document hasn’t successfully imported yet — including when Auto-Import is ON but the sync fails.

  • Bulk Import can still appear (and be used) when Auto-Import is ON if there are eligible items needing attention (e.g., Not Imported / Import Error), so you can retry importing in bulk.
