Key Steps
1. Accessing the Source Filter in Source Documents
Navigate to the Source Documents column.
Locate the new filter labeled 'Source'.
This filter allows you to sort documents based on their origin.
2. Filtering Documents by Source
Click on the 'Source' filter.
Select the desired source, e.g., 'SharePoint'.
To view documents from multiple sources, select additional sources, such as 'Google Drive'.
3. Applying the Source Filter to Invoices
Move to the Invoice column.
Find the 'Source' filter in this column as well.
Click on the filter and select 'Xero' to view only invoices created from that source.
4. Understanding Filter Limitations
Be aware that invoices created before the label feature was implemented will not have a source label (the source label can be viewed in the invoice / document card)
When filtering by source, these invoices may not appear in your results.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that you are aware of the limitations regarding invoices created prior to the label feature.
Double-check your selected sources to avoid missing relevant documents or invoices.
Tips for Efficiency
Regularly update your knowledge of which sources are available to filter.
Use the filter options frequently to maintain an organized view of your documents and invoices.
